The ALP ministers are too busy drinking their sorrows away on the taxpayer dime to do anything positive for the community.
When was the last time you saw any ALP member join in any community fundraiser? They are all about themselves.

Exactly. Tony is a good example to all. I see he has announced some spending (should he become PM) for Swim Australia, Surf Lifesaving clubs, and so forth.

			Bishop admits
Abbott will increase taxation. (See the 2.21 minute mark.) Now, I predict all the LNP rusted ons will explain that she attempted to make her comment the subject of qualification, and so did Gillard when she said, "There will be no carbon tax under a Government I lead," but that was water off a duck's back. Nah, Bishop came straight out of the blocks and let the cat out of the bag....and then, when she realised she had allowed the genie to escape, she tried to unscramble the egg.

We know Cossie will advocate raising the GST and Abbott will be happy to do it. Again, the ones hardest hit by this regressive tax will receive little or no compensation, further depressing the economy.
The 1930s would come to be seen as a blip compared to the Abbott Depression.
Geez, we are still working through the wreckage left by Howard’s reckless spending which led to a heavily indebted private sector, still lots of middleclass welfare when along would come PM Abbott and everything turns to shit.

Well, when you look at what Bishop said, and put it in the context of Hockey confirming that increasing the GST was 'part of the equatiom,' it is little wonder people disbelieve Abbott when he attempts to deny it.

Then the attempt to reach a surplus at the present fragile economy already slowing. . .will lead to bigger deficits. Always has, always will and much more so with an economy this fragile.
I have a thread on austerity on my board, anyone who doubts austerity at a time of declining growth is bad should go there and read it.
