Concerning Roach's allegation up there about the Sales/Rudd interview.

Are you sure we are talking about the 7.30 Report of last night?

Who was talking over/interrupting who?

Rudd was talking over Sales and she let him get away with it.

They were both interrupting each other. Kevin was doing the most speaking. Your point? Strawman? Of course it is.
My point.... Leigh was nowhere near as aggressive as she was with Abbott... she allowed Rudd to move on where she didn't allow Abbott to.

Makes a nice change anyway, Sales tends to interrupt and only cares about trying all her gotchas. . .I stopped watching that crap show soon after Sales and Tuhlman (who doesn’t interview Piss&Mona more like fellating him.)

Tuhlman interrupted Gillard 23 times in a 15 minute interview! Sales is usually the same with Labor pollies.

Ya know what this really is about? It is about how poorly Abbott handled his last interview with Sales. If there was any difference between the way Sales conducted herself, in my view, that is a direct reflection on how Rudd/Abbott conducted themselves. Unlike Abbott, Rudd was prepared, knew his material, had done his home-work and did not lead with his glass jaw.

I doubt this will be the resounding success Beattie and the ALP are hoping. Beattie is not liked in the sense that everyone is aware he handed Bligh a thrashing in the making with the proverbial hospital pass. Beattie really did desert the sinking ship, to take a plush overseas appointment. That said, he is an outstanding 'politician' and a very, very effective campaigner. If he sticks to giving Newman a hiding (which he would be wise to do) he may pull it off. But, he has odious baggage.

Beattie and Rudd are prime examples of just how dumb many Queenslanders really are... they are all front and no substance.
