Somehow I doubt Abbott will get rid of the Carbon Price. If he does—GST will go up, probably to 20%. A LOT of revenue he will give up if he does get rid of the Carbon Price. Nobody particularly gives a shit about the Carbon Price and getting rid of it will cause problems for exporters.

The carbon tax is one of the biggest obstacles for exporters. The ALP sold one of the collective advantages for Australian businesses to European bankers.

No because like so many armchair digital revolutionists who truly believe they are partaking in some democratic digital revolution saving the world from public service enemy number one, Abbott, Monk truly believes he will gain Government 2.0 recognition or perhaps even employment for defending the project.
