Yes, Skippy, that is what the Editorial said. Also said that Murdoch backed Rudd in 2007 because he thought that Howard was getting "stale" (and he was). Most people don't take much notice of politics unless there is an Election on, then they will watch a bit of TV News or read the headlines of an online newspaper. Most don't bother reading Forums. Very apathetic.Lots cannot be bothered to enrol to vote. It's up to the media to get the message out so people like Murdoch have a lot of influence in the outcome of an Election. Such is Life! You have to wonder what's happening to him. I was listening to Andrew Bolt the other night on the radio and he was subtly taunting Abbott in regard to the most regressive words I've heard come out of his mouth yet. Abbott was trying to formulate a new slogan which he'd plagiarised off some RW guru - about Rudd running the guilty party. It was embarrassing listening to him. He could hardly get the words out and he sounded brain damaged in his speech as though he'd had a stroke. How is he supposed to communicate with diplomats and the people etc. if he wins?

My bet is that if Abbott wins the election - he'll be given the shove after a few months and replaced with Turnbull. You can see it coming.
