Demanding egotistical little toad
I really hope that Kevvi not only loses his seat of Griffith but loses Government as well. I want to see him throw a wobbly on TV. :rofl

His kids will then be unemployed as well, I presume?

Kevin Rudd says Tony Abbott isn't up to leading the country if he's not up for a debate with the current prime minister.

Mr Rudd wants to hold the first one-on-one televised leaders' debate of the election campaign on Sky News on Monday night.

"The campaign's on," Mr Rudd told ABC radio on Monday.

"I really question that if you're not prepared to debate the current prime minister of Australia ... then I don't really think you're fit to occupy the office of prime minister of Australia."

Mr Abbott says the campaign isn't about an "insiders' discussion" between two leaders, but should be a conversation with the Australian people.

He says he has a longstanding commitment to attend a post-Ramadan event in Sydney on Monday evening, and is not going to renege.

"I don't believe in just cancelling things that have been arranged for some time to suit Mr Rudd's convenience," he told ABC TV on Monday.

"I'm going to be engaging with people in Sydney who are entitled to get to know the alternative prime minister of our country."

Labor has proposed a US-style presidential debate system, where members of the federal press gallery grill the leaders in a televised debate.

Mr Rudd says he wants a televised debate with Mr Abbott at least once a week during the election campaign.

The coalition has proposed three debates: one next Sunday at the National Press Club, a second at Rooty Hill RSL in Sydney and a third in Brisbane.
Demanding egotistical little toad.
I'm not sure how you justify that given that out of the mouth of Tony Abbott himself came the words that once the election was called he was happy to debate Rudd every day, anywhere.

Was Abbott just bare faced lying, or was it false bravado?
Labor’s national secretary George Wright took to social media to question Mr Abbott’s reluctance to immediately go
head to head with the Prime Minister, reminding the Liberal leader that he had offered to debate the PM every day -
once the poll was called.

Me too Nef and I'm sick of the whiny moronic pedants of the Prog Left who keep trotting out crap and ALP propaganda and acting like children when they know full well there are set events in our elections and What evs Kev's continual crapping on about debates etc is just more crap from the head crapster.

He'll get his 3 debates like every other PM has when the situation allows like everyone before him. Tony will probably have him for breakfast in them anyway.

I have a 3 word slogan for them...

DO GROW UP.

Just noticed that Rudd is doing the Scout 3-finger salute? What's that all about? Be Prepared? :D

Skippy, Aussie and Monk don't ready anything I post. They pounce before reading the whole article that anybody posts. It's a leftard habit. :h
