I did not get that email. All I took any notice of was the url http://www................which" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for all I know, could be a fraud......which I will soon enough establish, as I sent some dough.

It looks legit to me. That said, you are far better off going to alp.org.au and following their donate link than clicking on from a forum or an email.
