He was referring to a recent petition by the Polyamory Action Lobby in which the group said: "We demand nothing less than the full recognition of polyamorous families".

"Now I said that would happen," Senator Bernardi said. "It's happening.''

I had never heard of Cory Bernadi. However just Googled and he is, seemingly, a Liberal Senator who is very outspoken and against gay marriage. So what? Is Gay Marriage something you would vote FOR Rorschach?

I like Bernadi. Everything he has said is completely correct.

He has nothing against gays or gay unions, just that they should not be able to co-opt marriage because as he says, every minority fuckturd with an agenda and chip on their shoulder will want "equality"

He gets pillared by the progressives because he tells the truth.

If you need a piece of paper to feel validated you are in a committed relationship, you have other issues. If you feel the need to force people to give you that piece of paper you're a militant social destructive.

I take umbrage at his consistent thick-headed stupidity and statements that he makes about beastiality nef.
I think the Libs would do better without him.

I think if he is Number one on their Senate ticket he will adversely affect it... they need to win all the seats they can in the Senate.

Oh and it would seem that he is stretching the bow somewhat if not just creating plain lies... by saying his polygamy claims have been prove. They have not. The Greens are asking that Internationally recognised same-sex marriages be recognised.

Senator Bernardi also stood by his controversial comments last year that the "next step" after recognising same-sex marriage was to support "creepy people" who chose to have sex with animals.

"Bestiality, of course it was an extreme example, but once again it's linked to the radical agenda of the Greens Party," he said.

Mr Turnbull told Sky News none of the countries around the world that had legalised same sex marriage had gone on to legalise polygamy.

‘‘And the remarks about bestiality are obviously very extreme and extremely offensive and I dissociate myself from them completely,’’ he added.

Bernadi is obviously carrying on the (idiotic) argument that:-

Approving same sex marriage would mean that, eventually:

* Men would want many wives (Muslims and Mormons already do);

* Marry their daughters;

* Have sex with under age kids;

* Want to be allowed to marry their dog, cat or sheep, etcetera.

Its a figure of speech and quite deranged.

In MY opinion, there is no real reason to change the Law anyhow. Gays and Lesbians are already covered by the exact same Family Law as "De facto" or "Common Law" couples are these days. Many many couples have never married and don't want to ... they have been together for 15+ years have kids, a mortgage and all the rest of it. They do NOT want to get MARRIED!

Homosexuals wanting change is just another I want to be different but also The Same attitude. Treat them with IGNORE!

Yet another murdering nutcase who was released from prison raped and stabbed a woman in Sydney yesterday. Laws need to be changed and what will the whinging minorities do when it is proposed that certain offenders, particularly repeat offenders, are never to be released?

Some people relinquish their right to freedom by their actions and the whinging minorities can sit on that and spin or they can take the re-offending parolees and all the boat people into their own homes and take full responsibility for them.

As for Bernadi, he should have just apologised for his beastiality comments as they were a very poor comparison. I think he is from SA and just runs off at the mouth without engaging his brain.
