During the 2007 election the Libs were trying to be greener than the Greens and while in govt had been as security paranoid as red China and Iran.

Thank you for proving my point .. as previously stated Brown was a founding member of the Greens .. so prior to that, there was no 'Greens' party.

They were disparate groups... Bobby was a member of one of them.
Many were unhappy at the formation of THE GREENS and unhappy at the LW socialist agenda the Unions brought into the movement and at first Brown was against this too, but he apparently saw the writing on the wall and caved... which caused many real environmentalists to leave... now they are just watermelons led for years by the head watermelon Bob.

I suggest you bugger off somewhere quiet and have a good read about it.
