I don't rebut a deluded mind-readers fantasy monk.
It's... (how can I put this delicately)... unnecessary

They are probably hoping that their electricity costs will drop dramatically after all the rhetoric from the Coalition spin doctors. Won't they be disappointed? The electricity corporations will be rubbing their hands in glee.Jovial_Monk wrote:Yeah, electricity prices will not go down EVEN IF Tone rescinds the Carbon Price. Inflation, rising prices from state–owned generators etc will see removal of Carbon Price as a temporary, fleeting, slow down in price rises.
I didn’t go into Global Warming but some farmers will have to admit their properties are deeply affected—so what are they going to do? Walk off their properties? Invest in mitigation/adaptation—during a deep recession? Stop voting National Party?
I guess roach needs an opinion column from the DT to post something.Rorschach wrote:Jovial_Monk wrote:How about a detailed rebuttal? I know, no chance.

Roach makes no contribution at all to politics. Don't expect anything but abuse from him.

Fantasy? So Tone, Joe, Robb, Julie and the rest haven’t been calling for a surplus? What does that mean but austerity? Cutting spending and raising taxes.
So, now I have clarified that, which should not have been necessary, you take it from there, roach. I await your contribution with baited breath (had a lot of garlic in my lunchtime curry:)
I see a thread over at OzPol about letting Gillard have another 3 years to REALLY wreck Australia.mantra wrote:It will be the same old same old. Dear oh dear. Not a good look. Vic not far from recession either and in NSW the Treasurer did not know there was a $1Bn amount not shown in his books.
WA not a good place to be unemployed, with Barnett raising utility bills 70%, probably by more by now.
Of course, if Tone gets elected then the whole nation will shortly be in deep, deep recession. The reform that is needed? Nah, the deadwood that is the Lib front bench has no idea of that.
The Coalition are all past their used by date and those who aren't are just plain pigs at the trough. Everyone is in for a rude shock if Abbott wins the election - which is on the cards. Those who thought they were having a hard time under this government won't know what hit them when the dithering, stuttering Abbott is lumbered on us.
