That drone is not an Aussie accent. There is no inflection in her speech, there's no soul...it's her biggest problem. She cannot connect or relate to people through mass media.

All accounts have her as warm and engaging in personal situations but get her in front of a camera and its like she has 50 union bosses hands up her arse pulling her strings and she's delivering a droning monologue like a puppet.

An orator or media personality she is definitely not...nor much of a politician either it seems.

Honestly, it took Aussies a fraction of a second to turn off listening to this women- her voice and delivery has been the Marvel Mystery Oil for a majority of rusted ons.

Americans like stupid television without a doubt...but they prefer their stupid with a bit of personality.

At best, she might make a weather girl on the Jon Stewart show...for a week. It's not as if she could offer info on how to improve political capital, turn arounds, back from the brink comebacks, winning voters and influencing people etc.

I'd prefer to watch Latham melting down every night, being abusive and the fallout. Gillard would be like watching blackboard paint drying just so you could drag your fingernails down it.
