A morning walk
Fucking Market closed, without a few necessities so grabbed dog and went for a walk.
Mantra--skip the next para
Along the way made the dog 'drop' into a few puddles and made her 'sit' in a fair flow--gonna be cold wet grass at the trial tonight! Of course, once walking in the Hills in winter the mutt suddenly was running in a circle, splashing through two big muddy puddles so I wasn't concerned about Demi's feelings
Started raining and we ran to a bit of shelter. "bloody rain" I thought--ahhhh, the ineffable joy of saying 'bloody rain' and meaning too much or too frequent rain! Walked on and eventually arrived at the local BiLo (and CellHi) and got some milk, looked at the bread, yech, walked around some more, toilet paper! Yes! Last time at the shop I had to finish the paperwork using tissues!
Back home, will bake a loaf of bread later!
Before the walk, started getting Demi used to Earthdog stuff, making a little tunnel by digging a little trench in the garden and roofing with cardboard--this led into part of an old water tank. Initially she didn't want anything to do with it but before long was dashing through it happily to retrieve the tennis ball I dropped into the bit of watertank. As a terrier, as a part Jack Russell Demi should really enjoy the Earthdog stuff.

I went to a Carnevale festival at Rymill Park a couple of years ago and there was this Italian-Australian comedian - Bruno Lucia I think it was - who joked that Wagga Wagga is Aboriginal for "Italian". We were all laughing our arses off.Jovial Monk wrote:Wot about Wogga Wogga
can't get much less glamorous than that!
