There's some more action in the Justice Department thread of the triple scandal.

Obama's Department of Justice leaked confidential information in an attempt to discredit a whistleblower in the Fast & Furious scandal (yet another one, dating back a couple of years).

Obama's Department of Justice specifically targeted a Fox News reporter. Journalists are outraged.

Back to the IRS scandal - coincidence or smoking gun? Obama met with the head of the IRS union the day before it began specifically targeting conservative groups.

The common theme: Under Obama, the power of supposedly neutral government agencies has repeatedly and consistently been used to target his political opponents, and his administration has given tacit approval. What remains to be seen is whether there were any directions from the top.

If you don't think that an administration has anything to answer to that uses govt depts to promulgate and prosecute their agenda at the expense of those that don't agree, then I pity you...but just remember that the rules go both ways no matter who is in govt...be it leftwing, right wing or completely unhinged dictators that manage to fool the people once...like Aussie.

Regardless of the denials, the triple scandal continues to grow. If this had been done by a Republican administration, the deniers would be up in arms! It's a violation of the fundamental rules of democratic government, and it's wrong no matter who does it.

Scandal One: IRS targets people based on political views.

Top official in charge of IRS targeting likely to take the Fifth Amendment. The Fifth Amendment provides that U.S. citizens may not be compelled to offer testimony if telling the truth would incriminate them.

Recent polling indicates that the majority of US citizens believe the IRS' targeting of political opponents was intentional and illegal.

Scandal Two: DOJ targets journalists who are investigating its misdeeds.

Obama's DOJ seized phone records of five FOX journalists. And at least one CBS journalist's computer was hacked. This began when the DOJ's role in the earlier Fast-and-Furious scandal was made public.

In other words, the DOJ used its powers to target journalists who were investigating a DOJ scandal. This is an intolerable abuse of power.

Scandal Three: The Benghazi failure and the cover-up.

This one is on the back burner in the wake of the other two, and the Oklahoma tornado. But it continues to develop.

At this point, it's undeniable that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton lied about the causes of the attack. What we don't know, yet, is the reason why they refused to allow nearby US forces to defend the embassy.
