The attacks on climate change border on the same themes and tactics as creationists. When one little step in evolution cannot be explained the whole theory must be wrong.

The issue is one of risk assessment and management. We have agreed humans are contributing to the greenhouse gas increase. TICK. What we don't agree on is that this will eventually lead to devastation for the current climate we have evolved in. CROSS.

It is simple. If you look at this through risk management eyes, the risks of doing nothing and continually adding to greenhouse gases is growing and growing. The odds are greater than 50/50 and are getting worse by the day.

Simply, for an advanced species we are pretty fucking dumb. The environment we have evolved in will be destroyed by us. Like rats consuming all and shitting in our own nest. We deserve not to survive unless we act.

I do accept the facts that the model evolved last century was flawed.

I also accept the fact that the risk are growing and ignorance of the fast that we are creating ever increasing risk of a run away green house because we are no doing anything to stop, reverse or even slow down our greenhouse emissions and this leads to the factual conclusion that when the current effects holding back to predicted rise stops we will have a climate change that will have greater economic impact on human society than doing something now.

I also accept the fact that just taxing is no solution.

Maybe we need to address the solution that looks like this.
