A bit late but who can blame him with the bloody Recession/Depression? Nine major suggestions have been accepted and some others still being considered.
Dunno any details tho, just heard that on NewsRadio.

I blame society.
Re: 2020 Convention response
(From Celetina's link.)Louise Adler, chief executive of Melbourne University Publishing, in the creative group, got from the summit a "sense that ideas mattered again in Australia". Kim Williams, chief executive of Foxtel and chairman of the Sydney Opera House Trust, was delighted to be in a forum where the arts were not treated "as some kind of hobby".
That is more or less what I said at the time: the 2020 Convention showed that intelligence, intellectualism, debate and critique were once again welcome. Nice contrast to crap about 'elites" and "chattering classes" and "latte sippers" and all that crap that was designed to shut down debate, stifle criticism and shut down organs where criticism of the Howard govt was encouraged. Breath of fresh air it were! Howard and his govt were perceived as mean and tricky for good reason!
