Wrong, she was one of the first to raise the alarm re- Global Warming, though was also one of the first to expose it's shortcomings, false science.

Some might argue she only 'claimed' to believe in Global Warming to break coal miners unions backs, then later admitted her skepticism when it suited her.

Either way... she admitted she was wrong about this at least.

I think Thatcher was a bit of an opportunist, a wheeler and dealer, (aren't they all) .... and think whilst the false notion of Global Warming suited her when she wanted to break the backs of coal miners unions, (fair enough, they are a pain in the ass)...with a change in government, came a distinctively 'communistic' change of heart, when she realised her weapon could be used against her party and nations people, hence her skeptic disclaimer in her book, Statecraft.


Anyway, that's my take on it.
