Another incident that springs to mind.....
LORD Mayor Clover Moore has attacked Opposition Leader Barry O'Farrell, branding him "sexist and misogynistic" towards Premier Kristina Keneally in Parliament.
The Independent MP for Sydney unleashed her verbal assault in the chamber of Parliament House just after Question Time.
The Opposition had just completed a series of questions over Ms Keneally's widely condemned transport blueprint.
Ms Moore claimed she had never witnessed such intense levels of misogynism and sexism in her 22 years as an MP.
Opposition Leader of The House Adrian Piccoli confirmed he was shouted down as "sexist" by Labor MPs after suggesting ALP power broker Joe Tripodi was using a "remote control" to "operate" the Premier.
Mr Piccoli said his comments echoed that of former premier Nathan Rees, who said that his successor would be a "puppet" of Mr Tripodi and fellow ALP power broker Eddie Obeid.
What has gender and sexism got to do with Barry O'Farrell merely voicing his opinion re- the control these ALP power brokers seemingly have over Labors ministers, be they male or female?
Kristina Keneally dredged up O'Farrels first marriage in response to her being likened to Kim Kardashian when she said... "Given the length of the Premier's first marriage, he's the real Kardashian in this place."
Spiteful much??!!??

Would this have been tolerated from a male member of the Opposition had they said something this spiteful during parliament?
And can any of you recall any other politicians gender-related jibes?
