OK, went to penultimate obedience lesson b4 the Mt Gambier trials. Demi did heel a bit like a pig, but, again, a rock-solid stand for examination, sat like a champ in the 1 minute sitstay even tho dog next to her got up a couple of times. So, looking good! One trial passed with flying colors, confident two more will be by Sunday pm--will try to put a notice up here. Had taken her for what I think was a 3Km walk (too bloody cold to just stand around for 90 minutes waiting for our advanced lesson to start!)

Well done Demi..you must be proud and sounding quitely confident I might add.

As I live not far away my trip to the caves will take but a couple of hours..I might keep going to Bunbury and catch up with a friend.I havent seeen her for a while..the last time I did it was in Perth.

Yeah, I am, but, whooooo, you are standing there, 10 metres away from dog sitting there, if she decides to make acquaintance with the dog in the next ring, bombing the trial not much I can do :)

Hey, LOTS of caves under Nullabor!

Think packing all done, tomorrow shove all into hire car and set off for Kalangadoo!

Six days off, six days no phone, no carping customers--heheheheh have hardly any of those!

Will try to record the incredible dawn chorus of birdsong early in the morning--kookaburras, magpies and tons of others: will try to convert to windoze format and upload and post a link here, quite something! Took a recording b4 but my slurping of coffee too bloody audible!

Saturday & Sunday up early--have to be registered & vetted (i.e. that Demi isn't on heat and about to cause a massive but massive disruption to the trial, hahahaha) by 8.00am, and it is 30 min to Mt Gambier!

After Sunday lunchtime I can get drunk to drown sorrows or to celebrate--I will advise the tidings either way.

Greetings from Kalangadoo

Leisurely journey down from Adelaide, settled in then went to Mt Gambier to locate the site. Quite a few camping there in caravans & tents. Will take some piccies to post after returning. Wall to wall dogs of all breeds shapes & sizes tomorrow & sunday.

Ressurection.

No drinking over the entire four day holiday.

How do you sober people live like this?

If there is a major earthquake in Perth that would just be me shaking, rattling and NOT rocknrolling.

Well, Demi got her secoAnd leg of her CCD title Saturday, in fact she came third!

today, she got 2 more points for the heeling, same marks as yesterday for stand for exam and the recall. Wait for 9 other dogs to go through the ring, in for the stays. Do the 1 minute sit-stay no probs--at this stage she was likely in first place. Two minute drop-stay and with just 30 seconds to go demi sits up and bombs that trial! Fuck!

Oh well
