Let's say that temperatures have been going up for the last 30 years until they reached a peak at 100.
These are the temperatures for the last 30 years...

Try graphing that... the last 10 years are the hottest years... yet... they form a cooling trend
So as you see there is no contradiction. Nor are the people citing a cooling trend wrong.
It is totally correct and totally reconciled.

Yet there are graphs using hadcrut data that show there has been no warming. Experts on both sides say there has been no warming.

It is an issue of science. The 'politics' just tag along, and is influenced by whatever partisan 'political view' one subscribes to...........on a POLITICAL forum.
