I would hope a person like that with such a warped view would never have access to young children.
A mind like that can justify any behaviour and any young child would be in danger

Just another quality candidate in the current government...
'Invasion day' rant from MP
* by: GEMMA JONES, POLITICAL REPORTER

A LABOR MP has sparked outrage by describing Australia Day as "invasion day" and accusing Australians of celebrating "by throwing bits of dead animals on a cooking fire just like the people we dispossessed".
Victorian MP Steve Gibbons, who has previously used Twitter to label Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop a "narcissistic bimbo," Tony Abbott a "douchebag" and Kevin Rudd a "psychopath," tweeted the remarks late on Australia Day.
When contacted about his tweets Mr Gibbons, who is retiring at the next election, said "I am not interested in talking to you" and hung up. After a backlash on Twitter, Mr Gibbons responded: "It seems I have upset a few Lib Rednecks. I'm shattered!" while he told one follower "you people will never understand the truth is seldom pretty!"
He lashed out at a Labor supporter who pleaded "Steve, you may be retiring, but we want to retain Bendigo. This stuff is unhelpful".
Mr Gibbons responded: "I doubt you would have any idea about being helpful."
Opposition spokesman for citizenship Scott Morrison yesterday said Mr Gibbons' tweets were "childish".
"They are the rantings of someone who is increasingly losing touch," he said.
Mr Gibbons was rebuked by Prime Minister Julia Gillard late last year for his remarks about Ms Bishop.
He later apologised.

The misogynist crap may have been shot down today by none other than Man Shed Tim... Julia's boyfriend has put his foot in it with a misogynist racially discriminatory joke... what a bloke... oh wait that's a crime in the land of the man-haters... otherwise known as The ALP's Australia.
Now they have been shown to be first class hypocrites on this and Julia Queen of them all...
Let's see her keep her word and call out the sexism and misogyny in her boyfriend's speech.
First we had confected lies..
Then we had a dictionary redefine the word
Now we have Julia breaking yet another promise.

You are wasting your time on Tim's fuck up. She has condemned it, he has apologised for it, and best of all...............he is not a Member of Parliament, or a candidate.IQS.RLOW wrote:Sexist, racist and misogynist...the trifecta all coming from the PMs boyfriend.

Re: Reasons not to vote LABOR.
Maybe she should save her confected misogyny speeches for her current bed partner then so he can learn not to be such a sexist racist? Although it would be hard not to be critical of the female species after living with the ranga.
Perhaps Julia could learn a thing or two from Timmy about apologizing for misdeeds?

The Prime Minister's face performed a remarkable transition - jolly, carefree smile to impenetrable stone on the turn of a phrase.
Tim, Julia Gillard's merry prankster sidekick, had struck again.
Tim Mathieson, known for want of a traditional definition as the First Bloke, had been out of the spotlight for quite a while. Some around parliament house had speculated this was a deliberate strategy by Ms Gillard's hard-nosed advisers, who are deeply averse to tempting fate. Tim, a boy from the bush, just looks like a fate-tempter.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard's partner Tim Mathieson with cricketers Brad Haddin and Darren Sammy. The first bloke is in trouble over a prostate cancer joke.
Why, this was a fellow who, on meeting the Queen for just the second time in Buckingham Palace, had greeted her with the immortal words ''You again!'' Worse, he'd happily told the tale to this reporter, who'd recounted it across the pages of Fairfax newspapers.
But on Tuesday evening at The Lodge, it seemed the perfect time for Tim to take the microphone. The West Indies cricket team was being feted on the evening of the annual contest with the Prime Minister's XI.
Tim likes his sport and he's something of a blokey bloke, even if he'd been a hairdresser. Plus, he's been a hit as patron of the Men's Shed movement and he's been one of the government's Men's Health Ambassadors.
What could go wrong?
A misjudged joke concerning digital penetration and small Asian women; that's what.
All in a good cause, of course. But.
This is the era of correctness. Ms Gillard's own government wants to introduce legislation outlawing dialogue that could not only be judged discriminatory to just about any minority, but which could prove illegal (and expensive) if someone decided to take offence or feel injured.
Here's what Tim said, while urging the men in the audience to take care of their health and to have their prostates checked: ''We can get a blood test for it, but the digital examination is the only true way to get a correct reading on your prostate, so make sure you go and do that, and perhaps look for a small female Asian doctor is probably the best way.''
Uh oh. In three words, he'd contravened an expansive sweep of the proposed anti-discrimination decrees. Small (sizeist, you might think); female (sexist), Asian (racist). We won't even go near digital penetration.
It was at this precise point that Ms Gillard lost her happy smile. Good Lord, the television cameras were rolling and Tim had turned a serious discussion about men's health into a joke worthy of a prawn night!
You can take the bloke out of the bush, but you can't take the bush out of the bloke, apparently.
Unsurprisingly, with social media in a frothy uproar, a statement appeared on Wednesday morning under Tim's name, declaring it was all supposed to be a joke but ''on reflection I accept it was in poor taste. I apologise for any offence caused''.
It seems a fair bet the unfortunate fellow is unlikely to be undertaking many public microphone duties at the Prime Minister's side for some time. Or, for that matter, sitting down without a cushion.
The bold bits are just for you Uber Dummy... let us know when the penny drops.

Tim Mathieson has much more to fear today than the fickle finger of his GP. His ribald remark about prostate cancer testing to a gathering of cricketers has certainly earned the prime ministerial consort an extended sojourn in his man's shed.
Mathieson's commendable concern for the reproductive health of the visiting West Indian team went awry on Monday night when he counselled that digital examinations were the only sure-fire way to get a correct reading on the state of the prostate. ''So make sure you go and do that, and perhaps look for a small female Asian doctor is probably the best way,'' he rashly added.
This went down a treat with the lads at The Lodge, judging by the chorus of guffawing, but it showed a remarkable insensitivity to the sensibilities of Mathieson's housemate - as the look on Julia Gillard's face testified the moment the words were out.
As well as raising a small veil on Mathieson's private predilections, we now know - thanks to the inevitable barrage of commentary on breakfast television and talkback radio - that the remarks were inappropriate, undiplomatic and, yes, sexist, racist and probably ageist. Maybe even misogynistic, too.
And, jokes aside, they might even be grounds for his prosecution under the anti-discrimination legislation his partner is determined to make law before the next election. There would have to be a prima facie case should the Asia-Pacific Federation of Diminutive Female Medical Practitioners decide to lodge a formal complaint.
Mathieson's remarks might always have been judged inappropriate - particularly in front of foreign visitors in the residence of our head of government - but it seems they are being viewed in a harsher light given the course of our political discourse in recent times.
Had they come from the lips of a prominent member of the opposition rather than the First House Husband, we can be sure the Prime Minister would be responding with far more vigour than brushing it off as a joke in poor taste.
Both sides of politics have upped the ante in the past couple of years in sharpening the definition of what constitutes acceptable behaviour on the part of public figures, as they desperately scramble for political advantage in a hung parliament.
But the cynical, confected and stunningly successful campaign by the Prime Minister's office to paint Opposition Leader Tony Abbott as a congenital misogynist has trapped both sides of politics in a new, unwritten code of conduct in which even minor indiscretions can become major issues.
The polls show there are lots of things many women don't like about Abbott's politics and the man himself but there was no case for him to answer on the poisonous assertion that he hates, let alone dislikes women.
The enthusiasm with which the phoney campaign was run - primarily by senior female ministers - pointed to signs of a deeper puritan streak running through this government.
What Paul Keating used to describe as the ''straighteners'' are on the ascendant. Political correctness is no longer an aspiration of consenting adults; it's mandatory.
Fresh from the government's global triumph enforcing plain packaging for cigarettes, there is support for a similar crusade on the marketing of alcohol - that other evil social lubricant.
More serious perhaps than these efforts to control the toke and tipple we choose to further shorten our too brief lives, are the latest threats to media freedom and individual speech.
Draft legislation with the ostensibly innocuous aim of consolidating a range of laws relating to discrimination will go much further, to the alarm of a diverse range of lawyers, church leaders and prominent unionists.
One of the bill's most disturbing aspects is a provision that discrimination can be claimed over conduct that insults or offends a person, including in the area of political opinion. As ABC chairman and former chief justice of the New South Wales Supreme Court, Jim Spigelman, said last month: ''The freedom to offend is an integral component of freedom of speech. There is no right not to be offended.''
In an Australia Day speech at the MCG on Saturday, distinguished journalist and historian Les Carlyon gave a stirring denunciation of moves to tighten media regulation and the anti-discrimination bill. ''This draft seems to enshrine the right not to be offended, which makes it a boon for Collingwood supporters,'' he said.
''It's always been implied that free speech is part of our settlement - a given - yet there are now proposals before us for government control of the press and for an anti-discrimination act that would punish people deemed to hold the wrong opinions. These proposals are not things that belong to the Australian ethos, to the traditions that go back generations, to the conventions that have been tested and agreed upon, and we need to say so.''
Whether or not he will be hanged under the Bad Jokes & Other Offences Act 2013, one fumbled effort at prostate proselytising should not negate the fine work Tim Mathieson has done promoting men's health issues over the past few years.
For that he surely still deserves a thumbs up (just kidding, your honour).
