There is no reason for this sudden increase. It would be bigger if we went back another 50 years. With the rest of the world doing their own industrial revolution pumping shit into the air... I'm believe this is a man made effect. That's is man is the cause of the effect.

When it reaches a certain level we will have releases of stored methane... then we will be in deep shit.

Haven't looked yet but another convenient time span... because over 20 years ago the alarmists were warning about cooling and if you look back at my posts you will see the decades of cooling trend since the mid 1800s.

Untrue. An examination of the research of the 1970's does not suggest that scientists were warning about global cooling. That is a myth. And often repeated myth.
