If you invested $1000 back in 2006-2007 in the hope that clean energy was the saviour of the universe, it would be worth about $220 now
Now we have the ALP under the direction of the Greens wanting to take $10Bn of taxpayer dollars and turn it to shit...what fucking idiot votes for these fuckwits?

Re: Clean energy stocks
In 2006-07 we had a GFC. Do you remember? Unfortunate as it is - these companies are victims of free trade agreements - most of them signed, sealed and delivered under Howard. The ramifications have hit here in the last few years. Gillard has struggled - that is obvious, but so have the leaders of other nations. Howard was lucky and got out in the nick of time. So did Bush.IQS.RLOW wrote:http://www.climatespectator.com.au/comm ... commentary

The index has underperformed the benchmark ASX200 by over 50 per cent since the middle of 2009. What’s more it’s underperformed the Small Ords index by a similar margin.

It's still a technology that will become increasingly important, regardless. Something that we will need.

No it's not.IQS.RLOW wrote:Clean energy is a myth perpetuated by moronic Greens who have no fucking clue
We need green energy and that does not always equate to Sustainable energy.Green energy includes natural energetic processes that can be harnessed with little pollution. Anaerobic digestion, geothermal power, wind power, small-scale hydropower, solar energy, biomass power, tidal power, wave power, and some forms of nuclear power (ones which are able to "burn" nuclear waste through a process known as nuclear transmutation, e.g. an Integral Fast Reactor), and therefore belong in the "Green Energy" category). Some definitions may also include power derived from the incineration of waste.
Some people, including Greenpeace founder and first member Patrick Moore[51][52][53],George Monbiot[54], Bill Gates[55] and James Lovelock[56] have specifically classified nuclear power as green energy.
Over time we will need to move in this direction. Particularly if you equate nuclear to green.
It's not a myth. It is under development with no clear single or prefered solution.
