So now you move the goal posts and change the sport entirely eh.
So how is this relevant to the upcoming election?
I'll tell you what is... the fact that the ALP want to means test medicare.
Not some historical data dredged up by you that has no current relevance at all.

I'm not against a means test... I was against the rebate though.

The problem will be where it cuts in. Your example cites 99% of people doing the right thing apparently. So who is going to use a sledgehammer to crack a walnut?

Nothing changed..
Sure....nothing changed at all Roach. How fucking stupid are you! You seem content that Abbott can do a 180 because 'circumstances change' yet you are less tolerant with Gillard. Sure, you ain't no right wing muppet, not at all.

Well come on Arsie out with it what circumstances change that Gillard had to make herself a first class liar to the Australian people?

Come on... out with it you twit.

THERE WILL BE NO CARBON TAX UNDER A GOVERNMENT I LEAD...

Unless? Unless I form government?

What's good for the gander is good for the goose.
TONY ABBOTT SAID

when I made that statement, in the election campaign, I had not the slightest inkling that there would ever be any intention to change this. But obviously when circumstances change, governments do change their opinions,

Nothing changed and Julia broke her promise to the Australian people re a Carbon Tax and she was PM... not just a Minister.

Ain't no elitism in that excerpt mantra.
Oh dear... not making excuses for your rusted on, blind support for Abbott, are you, Roachy? Sure something changed... she had to work with the greens. That meant some serious political dealmaking.

Seems a lot more significant than what changed Abbott's mind.

You know... repeating crap is just repeating crap Arsie.

Pull your head out and make an argument... otherwise fcuk off.

Was Abbott a PM making promises to the Australian people?

No he was a Minister answering a journo. There is a difference you know.

You people are pathetic...
If your Brains were candles there'd not be enough light to fill a shoe box.

You can't compare the 2.

Gillard was PM.
Abbott was not.
Gillard made a promise to the Australian people .
Abbott did not.
Gillard had no reason to change her promise.
Abbott had no choice in the matter, he was just a Minister.

let me know kiddies when the facts sink in. :roll

Poxy I don't like Abbott, but I won't support lies about him.

There is a difference you know.
'Goodo.'

Please explain the difference, and when you do so, please pay particular attention to exactly who among our politicians have permission to lie, and who may not. What is the 'cut off' point? Where is it.....commencing at grass root level....and going all the way up to LOTOs and potential LOTOs? At what level is it acceptable to you?

You really are shit at this.

Do you honestly believe that, if Gillard had told the Greens to stick their carbon tax up their hemp-infested arseholes, that they would have given their support to Tony Abbott? Gimme a fucking break! Gillard did not have to break her carbon tax promise to please the Greens. She could have murdered all their first born children and they still would have preferenced the ALP.
