Here's a shot of the Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott, earlier today at Davidson Rural Fire Brigade where he volunteers. The temperature in Davidson, in northern Sydney, is expected to peak at 43 today.

Abbott was a volunteer for decades before he was opposition leader.

Unlike you, some people do volunteer work to give back to the community and not for self gain...then again, how many ALP ministers are volunteers? I'm guessing they fit into the same leech category as you.
