Yes the whole mystery of the miranda identity is one I've decided to leave as it hurts my head/freaks me out a touch.
But it's worked well for me - found this great little forum which is good place to promote our political posts for Rubies.
Cheers everyone who's taken a look at the blog!

Good point, and yes, at least something positive has come from it.

Again, I really like your blog, and look forward to reading more of it shortly.

Feel free to post em up, just beware we are a tough crowd around here. Opinions and invective are freely dispersed

You'll find all the political related posts here http://cheaperthanrubies.com/category/p ... n-a-pinch/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But for others just head to http://cheaperthanrubies.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Go nuts. I can handle it.

Nope, doesn't work that way here.

If you have an article or opinion piece, you need to post it here either in it's entirety or the pertinent paragraphs to invite comments that could range from what a wonderful opinion, shoot you down in flames or call you an ignorant bitch.

You're free to link back to the original article but reciprocal links from your blog back to here is the expected protocol

If you're not interested that's fine. I have already posted one older post, and I find generally the people who resort to calling others an "ignorant bitch" are usually the ignorant one themself

Glad you've got some standards Miranda. Stick to them. I checked out your blog. You've put some effort into setting it up nicely.

If I'm not interested, I'll tell you I'm not interested. I'll also call you an ignorant bitch if you are behaving like one.

But for any of those things or better to happen, you need to post content- not just parasite your way around the forum like some lecherous tick looking to expand your readership without offering anything in return.

Just sayin...

I think you'll find I haven't been "parasiting" my way around the forum. I've commented on this post which wasn't started by me but rather someone pretending to be me. I added my link to the blog after someone else had already pointed out where the article was sourced from, and then I posted an article I had written which I found relevant to the news Campbell Newman wants to make voting voluntary in Qld, yes I posted it so people might think oh that's interesting, I'll go and check out what else she may or may not have written but I also posted it to start debate about the pros and cons of compulsory voting.

I added my site to this thread for people wanting to look at other sites - my blog is not a dicussion forum but it is a site where people can express their views on the material published. They could also come back to this discussion forum and start their own topic on material they have read to create debate with other users of this forum.

Also, just because you may disagree with an opinion doesn't make that person an ignorant bitch.
