Yes JM, I see the dam issue also gets one and I think maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing, preferably minority Labor, not LNP. I went through the Mary Valley and it's very beautiful - prime farmland, properties that have been in the same family for generations, families split, suicides, people being driven off and no other skills than farming.
I hope Qld gets what it wants - I don't think anyone ever gets what they need from a government.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.
Re: Queensland votes today
Postscript:
If, as I expect, Labor scrapes home to a majority of 1-4, this could be due to:
1. The Borg, that voice! Sounds like he is dumb dumb dumb
2. The Borg finishing his campaigning Thu while Anna was still punching Fri arvo
3. The smelly heritage of Joh (and the last Nat govt, the Borbridge one not a shining example either)
4. The huge immigration to Qld, not enamored of the Nationals or having voted National
5. Liberals furious at the way the Nats treated them ever since the Fib party was taken over by the Nats: maybe they won't vote Labor but maybe a lot won't vote at all--wonder what the informal count will be?
6. Late and apparently only partial release of Pineapple Party costings.
1, 2 and 5 might be the main reasons I reckon.
OK, going home now to cook, and eat, a wild rabbit. Have two bottles of cider, not sure for me or the rabbit!

Have a lot of time for Andrew. His views are very astute. Hung Parliament would be a good thing for the politically void average knuckle-dragger in our so-called modern society. Here's hoping the independents manage to survive and grow stronger.
Anna should sack the lot
Post Postscript:
If Labor were to lose (increasingly unlikely thank goodness) it will be because Labor head office produced a totally uninspiring campaign! Anna should sack the lot! Also, a more convincing answer on health would not have hurt.

Exit polling hows the late swing back to LAbor will be enough!
Now for the actual fucking counting! abc.net.au/elections

From PB:
The Sheepy's etc are a millstone around the LP's neck. As is Howard's toxic heritage. Flush it out!
Less Sheepy's, less extreme rightwing, connect with people again, throw out the fucking Christians. Become what Menzies wanted the LP to be.I for one was not kicking Glen!! this blog needs more balance but my point was the Liberal party have [lost] their traditional base and until they can regain it they will be in opposition.
