For those incapable of reading .... Jewish Albert Dadon has too much influence over Australian politics, is effectively a king maker.

He bankrolled Rudds and Gillards campaigns, and is now gearing up to bankroll Abbotts too.
Getting back to Abbott - what does this say about him if he accepts this, which of course he will?

If not Gillard, at least the Labor cabinet and caucus took a negative stance on her vote not to give the Palestinian Authority observer status at the UN. That was a good move.

No, but it's easy to see the direction we're headed in. Ultimately it makes no difference who leads this country - both parties will answer to the same master.

Um, Roach, news flash, I have known this was the case for years, (refer to similar dialogue on Ozpolitic I wrote a while back now- a quick google should see you right)... This said, it doesn't mean we should be complacent about it, this and just accept it as being just how it is.

Our politicians from both sides need to be held accountable.

Australians have a right to know who and what they're voting for.

You may not think it's relevant in the whole scheme of things, though you couldn't be more wrong.

If we continue down this path then it stands to only get worse, we will no longer be in charge of our own autonomy, rather will be dictated to by a committee of globalist power-brokers being greedily fuelled by the worsening global economic crisis cashing in on sharpening geo-political tensions world wide.

At the end of the day, do we want people who really couldn't give a shit about Australians and our country calling the shots?

Of course, this is already happening to a degree, and has been for years, though do we want to have at least some degree of power over our own autonomy, or be entirely dictated to by a wake of UN-fascists being financed by globalist power-brokers who really couldn't care less about the nations they control, micromanage, ravage from the other side of the Atlantic?

It's about independence and autonomy, ... that and the long-term survival of our economy in a global context.
Because rest assured, should our politicians greedily continue whoring us and themselves off to foreign investors and globalist power-brokers for the sake of winning an election, the long term consequences of their narcissism and hunger for power will come at a price, one future generations of Australians (our kids) will be burdened with long after we're all dead.

You see, Gillard couldn't care less, she lacks the parental drive/instinct to want to make it right for not only herself, but for future generations of Australians to come.
Likewise with Bob Brown.

Childless politicians make the bestest of fascists. ;) ...living for themselves today, with little regard for others tomorrow.

Look by all means, shrug this topic off as mere conspiracy theory if you please Roach, because that's the very complacency, lazy mentality that's got us into this mess.

At the end of the day, we get the government we deserve.

We need to make them accountable, and the only way to do this is to question their electoral process, because this is where it starts.

Many politicians go in with good intentions, (well, we'd like to think/hope so anyway) only to weaken then accept their dinner invitations in the restaurants owned by these power-brokers. Before they know it they are being gifted with funding they feel they simply cant refuse, then spend the rest of their terms (once elected) paying their debt to those who bankrolled their campaigns to begin with, only at our expense.
It's ultimately the nation who picks up the tab, not the power-hungry narcissist leader who was willing to sell their soul in order to get elected/re-elected.

My concern is the apparent culture of apathy surrounding accepting funding from power-brokers like Dadon in this country, and like I said, both sides of politics left and right are guilty of having their bite of the cherry.
And why not, they justify it with sentiments such as..."Well, every other leader's done it"..."Why cant I."
It's almost become protocol, they just sit back and wait for the Dadons of the world to fund their campaigns.
What ever happened to raising the funds themselves?

Someone has to break the cycle, but the only way they (any given candidate) will contemplate doing so is if we the public hold them accountable for their actions, this and make it clear to them that we know that a vote for them is a vote for their power-broker who's primary objective is to bleed our nation dry.

The average Australian doesn't always know where any given candidates electoral funding comes from.
Perhaps if they knew what was actually funding their preferred candidates political campaign, (who in turn then has to sell their country out from underneath them to repay their campaign debt) we might think twice?

:roll Just a thought.

No, not anti-Semitic, just fed-up with the secularisation of our nations politics this and worry how this stands to effect us long after these Dadon-funded candidates have left the building.

Should Israel's politics be so heavily entwined with our own?

And enough so, to determine outcomes when it comes to Australia's own federal elections?

In the lead-up to the last election....

http://www.jpost.com/International/Arti ... ?id=185166

It will be exactly the same again this time, as both candidates writhe to please their Jewish power-brokers/masters.

For a minority, they sure wield a majority of power when it comes to determining outcomes re-our nations federal elections.

Is this acceptable?

There needs to be more transparency when it comes to 'ALL' party donations.
Australia's record for disclosure when it comes to political donations is atrocious, it really is.

Sorry mel don't read you.... (but I can guess)
So here's my take so people don't get confused by you telling them what I think.

Albert Dadon... is an Australian businessman, philanthropist, lobbyist and musician. He was born in Morocco of Moroccan-Jewish background, and lives in Melbourne, Australia. He is prominent in promoting cultural and business links between Australia and Israel. He undertakes a range of activities covering international affairs, Zionism, political activism and cultural activities within Australia and overseas exchange programs.

From 1991 to 1993 Dadon was Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce in Australia (Victorian Chapter). Established “Le Concours des Vins du Victoria”, a wine competition in Australia.
From 1994 to 1996, he was Director of the Australia French Foundation, an appointment made by Senator Gareth Evans, the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia. This Foundation was initiated by the then Prime Minister, Bob Hawke as a gift to France for the Bicentennial of the French Revolution.

Morroco/France you get the link right?

From 2003 to 2005 Dadon was Chairman of the Melbourne Jazz Festival. He is after all a musician. In 2008 Dadon received an Order of Australia (AM) for service to the arts, particularly through the Melbourne Jazz Festival, through philanthropic support for cultural and charitable organisations, and to business.

Under his stage name "Albare", Dadon is a jazz guitarist and composer. He has recorded two albums with Festival Records in Australia. His latest albums are Midnight Blues (2007), After the Rain (2009) and Travel Diary (2010). Dadon is currently signed to Enja Records.

Damn he could be the Bono of Australia. Oh but wait he's a Jew... he owns Australia and somehow rigs the vote. Damn he didn't do a good job last election did he? :rofl

As for this group that meets regularly of high profile people, journalists and politicians from Israel/UK and Australia. If the Kingmaker crap was true, the money could be traced and it'd be an issue. Nope, hasn't happened. You'd invite the side you are about to anoint, not the other side as well. Nope, both Labor and Liberal are invited. :rofl :rofl :rofl
Sorry just doesn't have any credibility in my opinion.

This coming from our resident dooms-day theorist?

:rofl

Poor Roach, always a day late and a dollar short.

So, you don't believe we could be more transparent when it comes to political donations then?

Our nations shortcoming re- a lack in political donation transparency isn't a conspiracy theory, it's a fact.

Is wikipedia the extent of your research Roach?

If so, it's understandable that you have missed so much.

You know so little, though post so much.
