Conveniently, the only time this "glitch" has occurred was on the coalitions computer system... guess they're not too tech savvy either... and too cheap to employ decent staff (either that, or it's a deliberate fudge).

In fact DPS said it was happening and it was unnoticed because no one had reported it. Which shows just how insignificant a problem it really was.

I doubt that. It's the only time the timestamp became a political issue.

The IT organisation who did the upgrade/change of the email server failed to set the time zone correctly.

I have seen this too many times to think it didn't happen. It shouldn't happen but the engineer failed to set it correctly as it has to be done with each major upgrade of the server.

Significance is: Abbott knew Ashby had lodged documents at the Fed court before Lewis’ story was published. He was complicit in the conspiracy and as usual the cover up is bringing Abbott and the Libs undone.

The Slater&Gordon sleaze the Libs engaged in—pushed Abbott’s disapproval higher to 63%, you have to go all the way back to 1984 to have a LOTO with a higher disapproval. That LOTO was Peacock and he did not win the election, nor will Abbott with those figures. Liberal supporters largely disapproved of Abbott’s tactics of sleaze and approved the way Gillard handled them.

Nielsen out today: 52:48 with Labor PV up a point, Lib PV down two points.
