Yeah, the public doesn't like journalists but there are other professions that are disliked as well. I have journalist friends and this is a hard time for them, a very hard time to be a journalist.

Being a journolist in this day and age would be a very poor choice of career..unless of course you were a govt employee or were employed by an entity that was going down the gurgler so you made sure that your job opportunities weren't discriminated against in the hope that you could go on dribbling your shit on the taxpayer dime because no one else wants to buy or read your shit.
Just wait until Labor bring in their 'offending' laws...the only ones to benefit will be lawyers and offshore hosting companies.
Fuck you Labor nazi cockfuckers

Some interesting stats there.
I haven't watched the News on TV for years. I got sick of the outright lies and political bias. I haven't watched any "current affairs" programs for eons. Most of the Talking Heads on those things irritate me beyond belief. Never listen to the radio. I haven't bought a newspaper for years either, not since I got the Internet that is. I read the various online newspapers and Forums/Blogs to keep up with what is happening in the World.

I gave up on TV and newspapers over a decade ago. After getting sick of hearing the same songs over and over, I gave up on radio, too.
The Internet has been my main source of news all this century.

Agreed. Young people have never watched The News as far as I am aware. I didn't. Many years ago I always watched the ABC 7 o'clock news on TV. Basically because it wasn't interspersed with ads. Back in the early 90's I watched Andrew Olle on the 7.30 Report and I actually cried when he died, unexpectedly, in 1995. Andrew was, to me, a daily dose of Current Affairs without bias.AnimalMother wrote:I gave up on TV and newspapers over a decade ago. Never did find Red Kezza appealing, at all! Gave up watching "our" ABC around then as well.
