Nowhere near as stupid as your endless supply of "rodent" remarks. The timing is odd, that's all I am saying. It probably isn't a publicity stunt but anything is possible. I'm amazed you don't have strokes from your very aggressive "I hate Howard" rants.
That is because of the pure life I lead. :)

I don't rant, I always indicate what fuckwad Howard did that stuffed things up.
When you start to criticise Rudd when he fucks up, then maybe I'll believe that.

Well, how is this for starters? Rudd was way too cute--I guess inexperience--way back when when the Alcopops excise was being brought into line with regular spirits. He said it was a measure against binge drinking and that was too cute.

This week the crossbench dross will flex their muscles and oppose it, handing the distillers a lovely little profit increase. The idiotic Fibs oppose it because to do otherwise would be to say that Tip fucked up when he set the rate too low when the GST came in. And the Nuts do what the Fibs tell them to.

Knocking back the Alcopops Bill will be a pity as it has reduced the total amount of alcohol being consumed.

All because Rudd was being altogether too cute.

Too 'cute' ?

FFS why don't you just declare your undying love for him and get it over with. Maybe then you can get some therapy instead of being like a beaten woman who continues to return to her abusive husband after he continues to bash her.

He failed in his first attempt to introduce a typical Labor tax and he will fail with the ETS as well.

General good ol all round complete fucking failure

mantra.

If it's not passed - why are the breweries getting the cash back? Will they pass it onto the customers who were ripped off? It should be given to charity or hospitals or something worthwhile.

The early figures released showed the drop in sales of alco pops - but the later ones weren't released. Brewers claim that beer sales have climbed by 47% - a record. I've got no idea what the increase in wine and spirits is? If this tax had worked - there would be no opposition to it.

Maybe they're starting to realise that it's better for the teenagers to get a little drunk on a few alco pops than end up with alcohol poisoning through badly mixed spirit drinks and cask wine.

No. The recent Senate enquiry showed the drop in total alcohol consumption.

The Fibs oppose it because they don't want to admit Costello fucked up. the govt also has spent heaps on alcohol education etc programmes--have a look at the ABC website, news, alcopops.

Distillers will receive the tax refunded, but will most probably have to make a claim.

It's worth the price if it keeps her out of politics.

What a disgrace that clown owns so many newspapers. Good news tho: newspapers are a dying species.
