How much was he involved I wonder?
Just another ALP crook
The Obeid affair is truly shocking, but I think many people in NSW thought he was corrupt as were so many State Labor politicians. Obeid had too much influence and I hope they throw the book at him and his family. Nonetheless - O'Farrell is not attempting to rescind any of the crooked and possibly illegal mining licenses which prior to becoming elected - he promised he would. Many of these exploration licenses haven't even been through basic checks and balances. Like Queensland, NSW is becoming one large, polluted quarry.

So has Flegg resigned yet Arsie?

Are you upset you didn't get a chance to "F" him?

Has he been charged by anyone or any organisation yet?
Was he found corrupt?
Is Newman corrupt/
is the state corrupt?

Or were you just joshin'?

Here you go Arsie I know you have problems.

PREMIER Campbell Newman says ex-Housing Minister Bruce Flegg felt he had no alternative but to resign - but he says there's too much focus 'on minutiae'.

Dr Flegg today quit as Housing Minister to become the second Cabinet Member to resign since the Newman administration took office in March.

The resignation follows growing pressure after a series of allegations this week.

"It's sad that he (Dr Flegg) has been tripped up in this way," Mr Newman told a press conference after Question Time this afternoon.

But Mr Newman said he believed Dr Flegg had to resign considering the circumstances.
Oh dear fell on his sword...

The bar was set high by the incoming premier when he forced Gibson out after waxing lyrical about a new era of ministerial responsibility during the election.

However, Newman seems to have stumbled at the much higher second hurdle by so stridently sticking by Flegg.

The allegations levelled yesterday by Flegg's sacked former media adviser Graeme Hallett were not an instant hanging offence.

However, the cumulative weight of what was claimed deserved some decent scrutiny by a leader who promised greater accountability rather than cheap politicking about the Opposition's record.
Seems to me Arsie, Flegg was an accident waiting to happen. I still don't see why you'd want to fuck him.
That's a strange obsession. :c

Nah, he has not resigned yet at all.
Funny the radio down here just said he did.

oh and the Courier Mail says this...
He said Dr Flegg "has taken responsibility for the things that have gone on in his office".

"His decision to resign and his advice to me on that matter was within 45 minutes of parliament kicking off today."

Mr Newman said it remained to be seen whether allegations levelled against Dr Flegg by his former media advisor would be proven.

Up there ^^^^^^^^ Roach was implying quite clearly that it was correct for Flegg to enter into his Diary that he was working in his Electorate, even thought the work was part of his Medical Practice. I let it go just to see if Roach could come clean like he had to with his expert advice on Lawyers/Solicitors. Nah, he failed, so I'll have to expose Roach once again.

Flegg's Electorate is Moggill:

His Practice is in Morayfield:

Roach really is lousy at this, and whenever he asserts something to be fact, it is worth checking.

This is the actual address of the Medical Practice.

Hahahaha. Nobody outside Queensland cares. It's a STATE problem. :tease

As a matter of interest to all ...... how many Queenslanders are there on this Forum? Just you Aussie? I think even NSW has more posters here. So whinging about the Queensland STATE Government can't possibly get too much sympathy, considering.

Have you figured out yet, Aussie, that The Victorian Law Society (and Legislation) is different to the NSW and QLD lot? I can provide the actual Victorian Legislation, if you can't find it yourself. :bgrin

That has been dealt with here, and I suggest you actually read your own link. If you want to keep going with this, do it here.

So.......The Can't appoints a Rugby League Referee.....and that is the bloke's entire claim to ability..............as a the Minister to replace the disgraced Flegg. (If he applied for even the most menial middle management job within the Housing Department...........he would never get it, as he would have NIL experience.)

Another latent disaster. Bloody hell. Mander is a complete newbie, only months into his first term as an MLA, and The Can't appoints him as a Minister. It does not say much for the quality within his Team that the best he can come up with is a bloke who spent the last 20 years blowing a whistle on a footy field.

'Onya LNP. Queensland is proud of ye!

8-)
