I would guarantee if the repubs had actually supported their leader, instead of fucking going on and on about Mormon this and moderate that and fucking Romneycare, they would have had it in the bag.IQS.RLOW wrote:I would guarantee that if the Repubs hadn't chosen a Mormon to run, they would have had it in the bag

No doubt, they were relatively directionless which went against them- but considering the makeup of the senate and congress, Obama will be just as impotent for the next 4 years as he was for the last...which won't bode well for the world economy.
The market reaction has already been savage with the DOW dropping 300... That in itself is a stark reminder of what a leftist govt brings to an economy.
Without a business backing, confidence is eroded and economic expansion is curtailed. Biz just shuts up shop until the climate is more favorable.

If Florida gets sorted out and Obama wins that state as well then this prediction will be right on the money.AiA in Atlanta wrote:Sam Wang's final prediction: (he has correctly predicted the last 4 elections, and in 2008 he was the ONLY statistician to get the 365 electoral votes for the President, and not 364.
His final is: Obama 332. Romney 206

Somewhere along the line she said that after her stint as Sec of State is over she's done with politics. But I'm suspecting she will be back anyway. Never say never.

It's too bad you didn't have the option of Fox News... for the “Math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better.”Neferti~ wrote:I actually got sick of the antics on ABC24 ... all the back-slapping and the "we are winning" type comments that I flicked across to CNN (I have Foxtel) and that was just as bad. The Media was definitely on Obama's side. Perhaps they thought their jobs would be in jeopardy if they didn't root for him?

Seems that Romney was "shellshocked" after his defeat because he lived in a bubble where he only watched conservative TV commentators that said he would win by a landslide and ignored independent polls instead relying on his own that told him he was ahead.

I don't "watch" TV News. I read newspapers... online... Is Fox News any different to the other channels on Foxtel?
I (obviously) am not all that interested in Presidential Erections. Although some people get a kick out of it.
Care less who runs China, Indonesia, Argentina or Britain.
I do, however, care deeply about AUSTRALIA.
The current PM is a liar and even worse than that. A sneak. This is a disgraceful situation .......
