While trying to get rid of him...funny how democracy and preselections work.

Your lot should try it someday instead of parachuting union bosses into safe seats and steamrolling over the performers like Farrell did to Wong and like...oh just about all of them :rofl

True snouts at the public trough your ALP.
Filthy pigs representing filthy pigs like you

While trying to get rid of him...
He clearly wasn't. He was plotting to get rid of Somylay.

He made his choice. Keep Slipper.

Suck it.

I'm not overly impressed with the unions - but they are fighting for jobs for Australians instead of bringing "workers" over here by the truckload from Asia. Something is better than nothing. What's Abbott going to do about unskilled foreign workers inundating Australia? What's Abbott going to do about the boat people now that Indonesia won't allow them to be returned?

"Plotting" would involve him not offering an overseas post...

I see your debating skills are at the same level as the intelligence required for your current employ

'Plotting' would include the offer of an overseas post. Abbott's plot was to influence the decision of Somylay. He was plotting to induce Somylay to run, win, and then abandon ship so that Brough could parachute in. That is a 'plot' in any man's language.

The main point is...................Abbott chose to rid himself of Somylay....................and to keep Slipper when he then was the subject of allegations of rorting his travel expenses.

Lovely stuff.

:D

Go have a look at what two very recent former national ALP presidents have been up to and get back to me with how your ALP is traveling

Hint: Williamson and Mundine- one is a crook and the other has quit the party in disgust because the ALP is rife with grubs and supported by grubs like you

Interesting stuff...............Abbott was willing to buy off Somylay for Brough.....and NOT Slipper! Guess he wanted Slipper to remain part of his Team.

;)
Actually what I said is what was said about the issue Arsie. Your link doesn't seen to help clarify that. Pity. Difference between someone who keeps on top of things and those that don't.

As for Slipper... the party as Barnaby Joyce has so often said, had moved the garbage out of the kitchen and onto the curb and Julia brought it back in the kitchen... oh and I do hope the analogy wasn't lost on you like the FACTS are.

Okay. Fair enough too. There is no defence other than off topic diversion for what Abbott was plotting with Brough to keep Slipper as part of the Abbott Team.

How does it go......................??????

"Pwned' or whatever.

I find it amusing that Arsie ignores the facts that the Coalition were going to get rid of Slipper.
A fact widely know within the party and to Slipper, hence he jumped ship Arsie.
Gillard chose him to be Speaker deplete Coalition numbers and sideline Wilkie in the one grossly political move.

I guess he'll have to look at the policy Labor adopted to let them in mantra. After all they are coming in under a Labor Government. BTW, I doubt mining want unskilled workers.

Your last comment is also inaccurate and therefore wrong mantra. No deal or proposals of an Australian Coalition government have been accepted or rejected officially. because we have a Labor Government.
