Your mate Abbott was going well today until he gaffed with the comment that Parliament was 'dying of shame,' the exact words used by Jones when he spoke of Mr. Gillard's death. Then, Gillard hammered the living shit out of him. Not without surprise, she highlighted how often the Country Party/Libs endorsed Pete for election after election after election after election, going back to the 80s. Gillard also reminded Australia that Abbott not only attended Pete's wedding (did you go?) but that he also spoke eloquently SUPPORTING Slipper being elected as Deputy Speaker after the 2010 Election. She gave very good examples of Abbott's sexist/misogynist history, and in effect, wiped the floor of the House of Reps. with him. If Turnbull had given that speech (without the gaffe) the Media would have had only Slipper's texts to run with. But, it was Abbott and:
