Obviously after years of constant denigrating attacks to try and paint Abbott as a misogynist (an allegation with absolutely no basis in fact) and the current handbag brigade of "Pillpopper Pilbersek" and "Nicbowlcuta Roxon" and the ALPs tawdry display of trying to smear by association and get Abbott to apologize for a private commentators opinion- the Abbotts have probably had a gutful of the lies like most Australians.

Gotta agree with IQS, the Prog Left have gone too far with their campaign of lies and obviously Margie has had enough of "her man" being lied about and denigrated. Good on her.

OPPOSITION Leader Tony Abbott's wife Margie has praised her husband as a good man with a great heart, and says she wants all Australians to know it.

"He hasn't let us down and he won't let you down," Mrs Abbott told a business lunch in western Sydney on Friday.

Mrs Abbott said the couple's three daughters had been kept away from politics while they were growing up but at the last election they had wanted to support their father.

"So we all got involved, rolled up our sleeves," she said.

"It was a real family effort and we want to do it again this time.

"We want to do so because Tony is a good man with a great heart - and we want all Australians to know that."
