The way I have worked out how to do it is:
1. Using explorer - right click on the image
2. Click on properties
3. Select the text in the address (URL): of the image
4. Right click and copy it into the paste buffer
5. Paste into post with <IMG> wraper.
6. Test it using Preview.
Works most times if the image is not too large and the size can be deternmined from the image itself.

I tried posting it from 3 separate sites but each time I got told that the size of the image could not be determined. I could have resized it but, on this site, I have no idea how to upload pics from the computer

BO,
I followed my instructions for the site you provided the link to. So it works. The trick employs using the the image as you see it on the browser on the screen that has it displayed with other stuff. If you click on the image itself it often takes you to the image standalone... I find it is sometimes not sized or too big. If I get the name of the image in the page on display, it appears to be sized.
Also you can add attachments here by clicking the "Uploaded Attachment" leaf below the post submit button. Great for posting images you create like screenshots I have found.

You'd only find Dr Manhattan there already.
As for interesting things,
Curiosity has just fired the first laser on Mars. Futuristic, eh?

Curiosity's Chemical and Camera instrument, or ChemCam, fires a laser pulses that last just five one-billionths of a second but deliver more than a million watts of power, enough to turn solid rock into an ionized plasma. A trio of spectrometers in the tool then studies the sparks from the laser fire on 6,144 different wavelengths of ultraviolet, visible and infrared light to determine the composition of the vaporized rock.
Thanks AM, missed that one. Bloody exciting stuff and the future is now.
Fascinating! Wot.

Both movies? You mean there's more than one Watchmen movie?

Actually there is... but one is a Animation.
I was referring to my Barsoom reference and John Carter of Mars.
Got Music CDs from both as well.

sorry... but it is interesting, if a little off topic.

Okay. I'll have to look those up one day - I loved John Carter.
Have you read the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic (not the movie), where the writer of Watchmen mingles the John Carter story with other classics of the period? If not, you should seek it out.
