I hope this goes all the way to a full blown Trial as it is very clear there is mud to sift. Anyone want to bet me that the Libs will ensure it gets settled to ensure that none of the apparent chicanery can be made subject to the judicial microscope?

No-one knows who's paying his legal fees, but it would be fairly obvious that a member/s of the Liberal party would have reassured him that he would be helped with the legal costs. They have to keep quiet and they would have to pay up - otherwise Ashby would blab about their involvement also.

FORMER Peter Slipper staffer James Ashby allegedly slept with two 15-year-old boys nine years ago when aged 23, according to claims last night.

Mr Slipper, who is accused of sexual harassment by Mr Ashby, raised the underage sex allegations on ABC's 7.30 program, saying he gave the information to Queensland police on June 26.

Mr Slipper said one of the boys contacted him with the allegation.

Police said they were still to determine whether the alleged victims wanted to formally complain.

It was alleged Mr Ashby slept with one boy for a few weeks and was then in a relationship with the second for up to three years.

Mr Ashby declined to comment.
