You all know (as Aussie pointed out) that I know SFA about the US process.

On the news this morning inthe UK they said that the more the punters see and learn about Romney the miltimillionaire the more they dislike him.

If that is the case then Obama is a shoe in come Nov.

I was getting the feeling from afar that Obama is improving in the opinion of the average joe. What's the mood in the US?
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

My Yank friends are very quiet about this. I gather that even though they didn't vote for Obama, the alternative is an unknown, so they are keeping their options open. We Aussies get bored to death with "politics" in the weeks we have to suffer it before Election Day... imagine the Americans with it going on for MONTHS? What a Y*A*W*N

If Obama wins Santorum will be back in 2016. But so will the GOP A-list which is absent this election cycle. And Santorum won't have a chance.

I think Obama will win. The only thing yanks are more suspect of than a black man is a Morman.

Only in America could a half-black man run against a almost billionaire Mormon.

Rubio's name is being tossed around for VP but others say he doesn't have enough experience. Compared to who? Sarah Palin? Romney just might pick a Hispanic considering Hispanic's are not favoring the GOP. Neither are women.

Today is May 6th, and that means we're precisely six months away from Election Day.

Go ahead and point to this post if I am wrong. I think Romney will pick Portman as his Veep. Portman is boring and white enuf and Romney is no daredevil.
