Always liked castles and would love to have one of my own.
But figured it'll probably never happen, where as a fortress is feasible.
Then I saw on telly how the Irish built their castles. Not from sandstone blocks, but frm
whatever rock was available in its natural shapes.
The foreman on a farm I worked on said t others about me
"You watch, he'll have a fort on that property one day"
When relayed back to me, I just smiled and said
"He's got me pegged better than I thought"
Anyway, yesterday I acquired my first piece of my fortress/castle ...
Bank vault door 2 (@25%).JPG
The door is 1 inch thick cast iron and the door jam/frame around it is 1/2 inch thick X 3 inch deep steel.
Killed this critter trying t set up camp under Fred's (my red cattle dog) kennel [sits on 4 ft X 4 ft wooden pallet] last night.
Night tiger 3 (@25%).JPG
I let the black snakes and pythons live at my place, but these things are very agressive and highly territorial, and I'm buggered if I'm letting it take over my camp site r claiming my dam as its own. And yes they do hunt at night, thus the name.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
