Nice one, fellow pastafarian. Admittedly its just a pisstake of Intelligent Design, in that ID claims that an intelligent designer (who usually turns out to be God) created the universe. Our suggestion is that the likelihood of it being a Flying Spaghetti Monster is the same as God or anyone else doing it, so our religion is equally valid.

I'm reading a book at the moment, 'The Coincidence Engine', which is a comedic take on all this bizzo.

Pretty interesting, albeit written as a comedy. To do with probability/curved universe/the prob. that the gravity constant after big bang was 'x' instead of an infinite other values of 'x' etc.

The anecdote you don't want. I was with my grandmother when she was dying. She looked straight past me and said, in such a joyous voice, my grandfather's name.

Still don't see this as proof of a NDE. Again she was dying, brain becoming hypoxic, becoming prone to visual, hearing disturbances.

I had a NDE about a year ago Ms Rainbow. Since then I've been at ease about dying. In fact I'm no longer afraid of death on a/c of the experience. I could say so much more ..
