Ok here I am Swami .. and many thanks for your invitation.

Let me TRY and give you a brief summary of why I believe in God.

God's always been an impt part of my life and He has always been a central part of my life.

Ever since childhood I could recall freaky and scary things which happened to me and should have killed me. And there's always been some supernatural intervening force that's interrupted things and allowed me to live.

How did you decide that supernatural forces were at play rather than garden-variety chance? The corollary of "I nearly died in an accident therefore god" is, of course, "I did die in an accident, therefore no god". There are a few thousand dead Japanese people who would tell you there is no god if they could.

I wish I could go into much more detail on here about what I've just stated. I've done this face to face over many hours with a few atheist and agnostic friends .. and what I've been able to share with them consisted of actual and dreadful real life experiences. They've all came away challenged and more open to the idea that God is very much someone real. And that is exactly what He is to me .. someone real. Why? Because for whatever reason HE has made Himself known to me throughout my life.

How has he made himself known to you? And who is "he"? Zeus? Thor? Allah?

Swami .. I'm a very unusual theist in that I seem to attract atheists and agnostics rather than repel them for some reason. Oh and I've found that they love asking me many questions about the Bible too (I think it's probably because they're too lazy to read it themselves and they know that I know the answers already lol ).

The bible is a steaming loaf.

You could say he is religious about atheism.

I just look at the universe, our splinter role in it, that we matter as much as a sparrow’s fart in a gale and religion just does not compute. Then consider most of the OT is an Israeli propaganda tract (“Put not your faith in scribes” some OT guy advised) and the NT was written like 50 years after the crucifixion was supposed to have happened. No thanks.

Have a look at the euthenasia laws: where they apply there are less suicides and people with fatal ilnesses live longer because they know that at the end they can make a peaceful exit. Yet religious arseholes like all those Catholics in Parliament (Kevin Andrews particularly) seek to prevent this!

The catholick church opposes euthanasia for the same reason that they oppose abortion and for the same reason that they oppose contraception.

See, churches and hospitals earn their money in very similar ways. They both profit from people who are shit-scared of death. It is not a coincidence that the churches have invested heavily in hospitals. Like fools, cowards are easily separated from their money and the churches have been profiting very nicely from this thankyou.

A terminally ill patient is an absolute cash cow for a hospital with all of the futile treatments and operations. If a patient had the means to control their time of departure in a peaceful and dignified way, the church would lose buckets of money.

They want us to suffer for as long as possible so that they can get more cash. They are absolute filth. Scum of the earth. And while they are profiting from people writhing in agony, they will declare that their position stems from morality and caring. Did I mention that catholicks are scum?

If euthanasia laws have not been enacted by the time I contract a terminal illness (assuming I don't get hit by a bus in the meantime), I'm gonna go out with a bang. I'm gonna contact one of the larger churches and tell them of my illness and ask if I may address the Sunday congregation. About how I've found jesus in my hour of need and that I'm SAVED! by god. And then I'll turn by back to the crowd, pull out my sawed-off, and splatter the idiots with my brains. Then they'll have blood on their hands literally as well as figuratively.

My cameraman who will film the entire event will then upload the video to the web along with my antitheist manifesto.

Mwahahahahahahahahahahahah.
