What a crock! The real reason the left lost is because they promised another referendum, which the people didn't want and the fact that they were obstructing Brexit. The people, excepting the Scots want Brexit. It was also an issue with the leader of the left who was far too socialist.

Since when has the North of England ever objected to a Labor leader who was too socialist? Even when Maggie Thatcher similarly wiped out Labour when she got elected, the "red wall" of labour seats in the north kept the faith. Not this time. What we are witnessing is a complete realignment of the working class away from their traditional Labor party, which no longer even pretends to represent them. Instead, it looks down it's nose at them, ignores them, and talks down to them.

The UK has had a Brexit referendum and a Brexit election, and the results were a clear affirmation of the people's will for Britain to Brexit. But for thee years, the political establishment comprising the labour party, academics, rich corporations, and the public service have conspired to frustrate the people's will. THAT was what the election wipeout was all about, NDP. It was ordinary people taking back the sovereignty of their country from a political class who considers democracy a real inconvenience to the sort of quixotic world they dream about.

Boris was clear. Vote for us and Britain will Brexit. Labour just wanted to muddle around forever until the whole thing hopefully went away. That approach made the people so angry that even seats that Labour has held for 80-134 years fell to the Tories.

Next will come the revenge of the Deplorables in the USA.

I wont bother checking the click-bait, but I did watch The last leg and was pretty amazed at just how 'unwoke' those in the London bubble are of the rest of the UK!
