I don’t mind watermelon seeds if I’m outdoors. Inside, I’d rather have seedless.

I’ve heard apple seeds contain arsenic, or maybe it’s another fruit.

ah, might pay to research things a bit then

Apple seeds, and wild almonds have cyanide in small quantities.
Chewing there seeds releases the cyanide into the gut and is absorbed by the body.
The cyanide is surrounded by a protein covering, which surprisingly has no detrimental effects on the body.

But should this protein covered cyanide bump into a cancer cell, the cancer breaks down the protein shell and gets a dose of cyanide in the bargain.

This has been known for years, I read a paper on it when I was 20, 40 years ago.
It has been poo hood by the medical profession and ignored by research.
But I believe that this is because a simple preventive cure such as this would decimate the highly profitable multi trillion dollar cancer industry if it was found to be effective.

For this reason I chew apple seeds and will continue to do so.
