I'll walk says Turnbull

Turnbull puts leadership on line with challenge to rebels

By Online parliamentary correspondent Emma Rodgers

Time will tell: Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull (AAP: Alan Porritt)

Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull says "time will tell" if he will survive the current Coalition turmoil over emissions trading.

And he has suggested he may walk away from the job if he fails to win the support of the party room.

With the issue continuing to destabilise his leadership Mr Turnbull has slapped down dissenters in his own party, telling rogue backbenchers to show some discipline and stop risking the re-election of their colleagues.

Heh, I have already posted that Malcolm will at some point walk away from the rabble and its fuckwits like Tuckey, Bernardi and Barnyard. Why should he stay, he can go and enjoy his money and life. Notice how he has aged in one year?

Instead of walk, how about he just jump off a fucking cliff. He's about as popular as a lamb roast at a Vegan get-together.

I saw Tuckey on the news last night, he dosn't care if Turnbull walks, he says there are at least three or four other people in the party better equiped to lead it.
Lets see Julie Bishop?
Wilson Tuckey?

Tony Abbot
Joe Hockey
Nick Minchin

are all I can see.

Here is another delightful bit.

The Poodle is on 50.94% at the last election: but Newspoll shows a 8.6% swing to Labor in SA. Will we be rid of the Poodle after the next election?

Non of those guys could win an election. Minchin needs a personality transplant, a seat in the house of reps and a bloody miracle.
Hockey, I think is their best bet,tho he reminds me of Beasley, he'll never be PM, but could be a good oposition leader untill a real one turns up.
Abbott, haha Tony thinks he'd be good, he writes a blog for the Tele on Fridays and like to play with him there, if you piss in his pocket he always posts your comments.
I told him a couple of weeks ago he was the best person to lead the Liberals, he loved it, told me I was an astute political observer, hahaha, pure gold.

Who is the poodle?
I've just read that Mike Rann was bashed by a thug, with a newspaper, hahahaha.

I say this as one relatively happy with Labor so far (though I find Rudd, stiff, plastic and fake, he is like a math teacher I once had who tried to be our freinds rather than teach math), but it is clear the Liberals are not going to win the next election, best stay with Turnbull, let him take the loss and then have him step down and give the new leader time to get some traction.

My guess is the Liberals will have to drumbeat several issues against Labor long term, one will be interest rate rises which will be coming as well as inflation (how bad no one knows) tax rises, which will be coming, illegal immigration which I think might become a big issue again as Labor really does not have a handle on it, Labor’s nanny state inclinations and one other issue that helped the Liberals over here, rising crime rates and the ridiculous lenient sentences handed out to violent criminals.

Drum beat these for a couple of years and the Liberals may turn it around.
