AnimalMother....I will not go away. Who are you referring to?

If you don't want to answer, just say so.

She must think we're idiots.

I'll bet the hour long press conference before Question Time was Bill Shortens grand idea.

This sums it up....
Gillard did a good job today. She was quite right - how are you supposed to remember to the most minute detail some little incident which occurred 20 years ago? She is very articulate when she's angry, but you can see that the stress of this witch hunt is getting to her.

She has explained this all before. She should have done a Howard and said no-one told her anything. I don't recall anyone delving into Howard's legal past, but then it was always obvious that he was a professional in destroying paper trails. Gillard isn't quite as cunning - but then who is.

Gillard is dead in the water.

Refuses to answer any questions in parliament and hoping for a free ride from the media. Even those MSM true believers know she is a dead woman walking because of her handling of this.

It won't go away and will continue to hang over her...and deservedly so

“I can't categorically rule out that something at my house didn't get paid for'' out of funds either from the AWU Workplace Reform Association or the union itself - Ms Gillard
That is something I think most people would remember no matter how long ago it occurred

20 years is a long time.

I think it depends on how your brain stores information. I tend to discard things that are not important to remember quickly to fill it with other more useful information. My wife remembers these sorts of details forever (hate that) . I would have no clue.

However, a valid tactic is you don't want to remember or are in the process of getting caught out don't you think.
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

There's not too much that most women forget lol

Regardless, I would certainly consider funding of house renovations fairly important in the memory stakes. Male or female

Mantra, Gillard has managed this affair as well as any exposed fraud could have, I quite agree.

Gillard did make a point. The media and the sheep choose to believe a person who is an alleged criminal, not only here but in Asia also, over the primeminister's explanation. Ralph Blewitt has a huge history of scams and criminality behind him. I believe he's also being given immunity for his testimony. No surprise he's so eager to talk.

It's no wonder Gillard has difficulty performing her work - these distractions are over the top. Where's Abbott in all this? He's silent because he's got his pitbull Julie Bishop speaking on his behalf.

The general public is getting sick of this crap. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Gillard is returned next year.

Mel so far we only have speculation and innuendo. There is no proof. Gillard has many enemies who are out to get the dirt on her. Is there a politician anywhere (Bob Brown being the exception) who you believe has done everything right throughout their lifetime?
