If you don't want to answer, just say so.

Gillard did a good job today. She was quite right - how are you supposed to remember to the most minute detail some little incident which occurred 20 years ago? She is very articulate when she's angry, but you can see that the stress of this witch hunt is getting to her.mellie wrote:Gotta love how a gutless Gillard called a press conference one hour before Question Time today, then proceeded to direct those questioning her over the slush-fund incident during Question Time back to the questions she believes she already answered during the press conference.
Ie, "I believe I already answered that question earlier during the press conference."
She must think we're idiots.
I'll bet the hour long press conference before Question Time was Bill Shortens grand idea.
This sums it up....

That is something I think most people would remember no matter how long ago it occurred“I can't categorically rule out that something at my house didn't get paid for'' out of funds either from the AWU Workplace Reform Association or the union itself - Ms Gillard
20 years is a long time.Black Orchid wrote:mantra wrote:Gillard did a good job today. She has explained this all before. She should have done a Howard and said no-one told her anything. I don't recall anyone delving into Howard's legal past, but then it was always obvious that he was a professional in destroying paper trails. Gillard isn't quite as cunning - but then who is.
Mel so far we only have speculation and innuendo. There is no proof. Gillard has many enemies who are out to get the dirt on her. Is there a politician anywhere (Bob Brown being the exception) who you believe has done everything right throughout their lifetime?Mantra, Gillard has managed this affair as well as any exposed fraud could have, I quite agree.
