Ie, "I believe I already answered that question earlier during the press conference."

Gillard did a good job today. She was quite right - how are you supposed to remember to the most minute detail some little incident which occurred 20 years ago? She is very articulate when she's angry, but you can see that the stress of this witch hunt is getting to her.

She has explained this all before. She should have done a Howard and said no-one told her anything. I don't recall anyone delving into Howard's legal past, but then it was always obvious that he was a professional in destroying paper trails. Gillard isn't quite as cunning - but then who is.

That is something I think most people would remember no matter how long ago it occurred

20 years is a long time.

I think it depends on how your brain stores information. I tend to discard things that are not important to remember quickly to fill it with other more useful information. My wife remembers these sorts of details forever (hate that) . I would have no clue.

However, a valid tactic is you don't want to remember or are in the process of getting caught out don't you think.

Gillard did make a point. The media and the sheep choose to believe a person who is an alleged criminal, not only here but in Asia also, over the primeminister's explanation. Ralph Blewitt has a huge history of scams and criminality behind him. I believe he's also being given immunity for his testimony. No surprise he's so eager to talk.

It's no wonder Gillard has difficulty performing her work - these distractions are over the top. Where's Abbott in all this? He's silent because he's got his pitbull Julie Bishop speaking on his behalf.

The general public is getting sick of this crap. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Gillard is returned next year.

Mel so far we only have speculation and innuendo. There is no proof. Gillard has many enemies who are out to get the dirt on her. Is there a politician anywhere (Bob Brown being the exception) who you believe has done everything right throughout their lifetime?
