There were bikie gangs (so-called) when I came here in 1981. Thus far, they haven't done much.

When I was younger, I belonged to a bike gang.
But in those days we simply rode bikes, got into fights with other gangs and generally had a hoot of a time.
We bothered no one and while some took drugs, not all did.
And we were not involved in criminal activities other than breaking road rules.

The so called bike gangs now are nothing but criminals who ride bikes.
The gang motif was adopted to make them look tough.
And now, no self respecting bike gang member from my time would call any of them true bikies.
