That's one positive move in her favour. The Greens would have been behind it though. At least April buys us a little time. Fracking should be banned altogether though. Whichever way you do it - even with precautions in place, it's going to cause irreparable damage to our water supplies.

Gas is Australia's new gold, what impact will this short-lived ban have on both our environment and economy in the long run with Australia headed for its worst year of jobs growth in 15 years.

The trouble with the GALP is there is no balance, or an environmentally/ industrially thoughtful in-between.
