When the govt announces the backflip on mining taxes...

Post by IQSRLOW » Thu Jul 01, 2010 9:45 pm

I'll put this here for later.

What other policy backflips or likewise they will try and mask with the news release.
It seems to be a staple of their govt 'play the newscycle' style. Will it continue under Ghoulia?

Surprisingly, it seems to be only the less intelligent posters that call for me to be banned.

Unsurprisingly, they are all from the left

Did the prediction actually happen?

Or are you just lapping at his taint because you like the taste?

What I find amusing about this agreement is the mining companies ran a relentless advertising campaign saying they were trying to stop the destruction of inward investment and the creation of new mines and mining jobs.

Yet the deal they signed protects existing mines and profits but not new investment or mining jobs.

So they ran a fraudulent, if successful, ad campaign.

I don’t believe in nothing no more
