Home remedies THAT ACTUALLY WORK.

Just wanted to give a shout-out for a neat little remedy for an earache. What started off as a bit of a scant, random pang of ear discomfort a couple of days ago when of course I was too busy to make a GP appointment, reared it's ugliness this afternoon, and turned into an annoying frequent painful deep throb in my ear, threatening to distract me from finishing my book, The Lost Book by Evie Woods, a book I'm really enjoying, so I made a sensible ( to me) concoction of 3ml olive oil , a drop each of clove + teatree oils and syringed this into my throbbing ear.
Problem gone, though I have a GP appointment scheduled for Monday to sort it properly.
I have used this method before with excellent results and have even used olive oil with just a heat pack and this helps too. But I think the oil of cloves anaesthetic , antimicrobial effects are a real winner here which were appreciated instantly. The teatree oil is also antimicrobial and anti inflammatory, so I believe the three combined are a winner.

Just wanted to share this, and whilst having been a Registered Nurse I am not generally in favour of do-it-yourself medical treatment, as this can cause more harm in many instances, I had a good idea this would allow me to read my book in peace before getting dinner on, and it has.
Clove oil is a must in every household, great for toothache also, and every household should have teatree and olive oil also.

I used a kids medicine syringe, lol but a dropper would have been more effective.

Anyway, it's worked, carry on people......
