Ukraine is in trouble
The Ukrainians are using Maxim machine guns that are 85 years old.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62gx6rvv5wo
The machine-guns are from another era:
two Maxims made in 1939, ammunition boxes stamped with red stars from Soviet days.
Serhiy, the only man on the team, has to pour in bottled water by hand as a coolant.
This is all that’s available: Ukraine’s best kit is at the frontline, and it is constantly asking its allies for more.
But the ancient weapons are impeccably maintained and the Witches say they’ve downed three drones since the summer.
It seems when you get desperate in war you use anything you can get your hands on.
I heard Ukraine took vintage WW2 tanks out of museums to use and put them straight on the front line
up against modern Russian tanks.
I'd hate to be the poor bastard driving that into battle. WTF?

Re: Ukraine is in trouble
I am really afraid for the Ukraine. The world is in such a terrible place but the loudest bunch of rabble-rousers here in Australia have forgotten the Ukrainians and our European roots and instead of protesting against the Russsians, have taken up with the murderous mussos. And just as the Nazis had a final solution for the Jews, the mussos have a final solution for we infidels. But these useful idiots are totally ignorant of the final global caliphate - or even what that is.

They will continue to fight till the end. The rest of the world needs to step up and help or we will be next.

Re: Ukraine is in trouble
But NATO knows that they have to support Ukraine even though it is not yet a member. Because if not, who will be next? You think that Russia will stop with the Ukraine? If the West and NATO abandons Ukraine, that will be the sign Russia is waiting for because they have several other nations in their sights. They can't win unless NATO joins in with half a million troops and a full NATO air force.
There is no will to do it.

Re: Ukraine is in trouble
My thoughts on Ukraine:
Mariupol looks like Hiroshima in 1945.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/ ... raine-city
All the farmland in the invaded areas is now full of mines and unexploded shells -
they are still clearing that stuff in the Somme after more than 100 years.
The whole place is ruined.
Ukraine might as well give it to the Russians - it's so badly damaged and
will bankrupt Russia trying to fix it.

Re: Ukraine is in trouble
Ukraine has been in trouble since February 2014 after neo nazi with NATO countries help overthrew the legitimate democratically elected government and started to prosecute opposing political parties and killing people like in Odessa on 2 May 2014.
